It is one thing to be discipled. It's another to develop skills. But the end-game is to put it all into practice. As you graduate from 3DTC, your journey as a disciple-maker will have only just begun. Going forth to make disciples of all the nations is a life-long venture. God's wants to see you actively involved in the great commission. So as you disperse, that's the attitude we will encourage and promote.   

In 2 Timothy 2:15, Paul challenged Timothy, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. With the right kind of training and a willing disposition the man or woman of God will go forth and make a difference. This is a goal worth striving after.

Most militaries look for a few good people. We are not a military, but each of us serves the Lord in a spiritual conflict. We have an invisible, yet real enemy, Satan. There is no time to slack off. 2 Timothy 2:4 says, "No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him." 

And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”
